We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our HR functions and ensuring a positive employee experience. Your contributions will help us maintain a collaborative culture where everyone is learning, teaching, and growing. The Human Resource Coordinator reports to the Human Resources Manager. 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Champion a people-first approach by supporting employee celebrations, recognition programs, and initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Support the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer letters.
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire paperwork, background checks, I-9 documentation and exit documentation.
  • Maintain HR records, employee files, and HRIS data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Prepare HR correspondence such as employment verifications and policy communications.
  • Support employee relations by acting as a first point of contact for HR inquiries and assisting the HR Manager in resolving employee concerns.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee questions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities, training, and company events.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects, policy updates, employee engagement initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Help implement HR policies and procedures to promote a positive work environment.

Requested Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in human resources or administrative roles.
  • A genuine desire to help people and improve their workplace experience.
  • Working knowledge of HR processes and employment laws.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred.(BambooHR preferred)
  • Ability to work with ATS software. (JazzHR preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Exhibit extraordinary discretion, confidentiality, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our team
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision required

  • Salary $50,000 - $60,000 with bonus opportunity
